Adventure Community Church is
like a MILITARY HOSPITAL
where the broken hearted, the wounded can
receive healing and restoration.

Adventure Community Church is a daughter church of Cascade Community Church in Monroe.  In the Fall of 1997 Randy and Debbie Lawrence sensed God’s call on them to consider church planting.  They came to Cascade thinking they would eventually plant in Snohomish Washington.  But in the Summer of 2003 God called them to plant a church in Duvall.  A team of 8 men began to pray and journey together to begin Adventure Community Church. Adventure officially began on October 17th, 2004.  Adventure Community Church’s History:

1. In the summer of 2003 God kept Randy up all night speaking to him about beginning a church with the mission of Isa. 61.
2. Adventure Church began meeting in the adult classroom at Cascade in December 2003. At that time the core team was around 30 adults.
3. By launch in October of 2004 the core team had grown to approximately 65 adults. 
4. Adventure’s first public service in Duvall had an attendance of 202 people.
5. Adventure’s future:  Heal the broken hearted and set the captives free!
