What is KidzXtreme?
The Children’s Ministry incorporates the Four Streams throughout our teaching. It is our heart to help children begin a journey walking with the Lord and lead them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ that is not only based on knowledge but is real and applicable to their daily lives.
As teachers and leaders, we endeavor to model our lives so that children will know what it means to be fully alive in Christ.
Sunday School Programs:
Nursery: Birth-Kindergarten -- Our desire is to capture and build on a child's natural sense of wonder and creativity. They will explore and discover God through stories, games, crafts, music and other special activities. We will express the love of Christ to infants by quickly and tenderly responding to their needs and by providing a safe and clean environment.
Elementary -- Elementary Sunday School classes are for 1st to 5th grade children. We use many different formats to teach including drama, videos, music, hands-on learning, games and small groups.

General information:
Preschool: A parent is required to check in each of their children. Please fill out a security label for each child with special instructions and requirements. Both parent and child receive a matching number label. Only the adult with the matching number label may claim the child at the end of service. For security reasons, children will not be released to siblings.
3-4 & 5-K Curriculum: Age appropriate curriculum and class experiences are incorporated to help each child grow in their true identity and grow in a community. To enhance the quality of their church experience and interaction with their social and physical environment, we ask that each child be placed in their age appropriate classroom.
Food: Snacks (usually fish crackers & water) will be served to children 18 months – Kindergarten. Children under 18 months are served parent provided snacks only. Please notify volunteers if your child has any food allergies.
Illnesses: All children attending our Preschool Ministry must be free of fever, unexplained rash, upset stomach, diarrhea, vomiting, crusty or oozing eyes, and respiratory infections for at least 24 hours. Symptoms of respiratory infection include sore throat, nasal congestion, earache, cough, and yellow or green drainage.
Volunteers: We ask that at least one parent of children who attend our Ministry, volunteer to serve on a rotation basis. Our church family is a vital part of our children’s program and all parents are encouraged to be involved. All volunteers will need to fill out a Washington State background check form and be approved prior to serving with our children.

CHILDREN'S CORNER 12/7
The children will be putting on a Christmas performance December 21st, the Sunday before Christmas, during both the 9 and 11 AM services! Last week we had sign ups for the children who would like a speaking part. This week, we will be asking those children to participate in a Reading, right after the 11 AM service. Speaking parts will then be assigned and announced on December 7th. We will have two rehearsals during the 11 AM Sunday School Service, on December 7th and 14th. On December 21st, the day of the performance, your child will need to be present for both services as we will be performing for both. Any child who chooses not to have a speaking part will be on stage as the chorus. All children will be involved!
Merry Christmas!
