Groups run for 6-10 weeks and average 8-16 people per week. New sessions start quarterly so you never have to wait too long to find a group.
Community Groups
You were never intended to go it alone. You were meant for real connection, for authentic friendships. Don’t you want some friends who know you and who are watching your back? We all do. You long for that because we were made in the image of a group, so we long to be known and enjoyed in community.
Your growth and maturing is meant to take place in true community. Proverbs tells us that “as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”. (Proverbs 27:17) Sadly, many have walked away from even trying to connect and have given up on true friendships. Perhaps they were hurt in the past and have learned that distance is safer than the risks of being known. But that is not how we were meant to live.
Adventure Church believes in community. We believe that Jesus and the New Testament authors taught that our faith and maturing plays itself out in the context of community. At Adventure we have sought to provide a structure to foster community through offering three different kinds of groups: Activity, Growth and Mission Groups.
